This is an ultra-rare 1988 demo cassette featuring three tracks of above-average power metal from California band Abyss. Abyss featured ex-members of punk group Toxic Pets: Marija Krstic on vocals and guitar, Bryan Fougner on bass, and Lane Hiers on drums. First two tracks are classic '80s speed metal in the vein of Venom or Belgium's Acid with a dash of early-80s LA style headbanging, and the last track is a slower number with a Witchfinder General / '80s Black Sabbath vibe. Great production for a demo, really catchy power metal tunes, awesome female vocalist / guitarist! Cassette is in excellent condition, fully tested, great copy for digitizing and sharing.
